The lawn was laid today and so was the limestone out the back. It makes such a difference and I finally feel like we're actually living in a house, not a giant sandpit! And I'll finally be able to stop vacuuming 3 times a day (seriously) because of the cat and dog dragging sand in from the back yard. That pipe sticking up behind the pool will eventually be the water feature (we're probably going to go with a water blade and stacked stone. We'll have a small (very small) bit of lawn at the side of the pool for Kate to play on, but luckily we have a park across the road.
